Let’s prepare the oven by setting the rack in the lower third and preheating it to 160°C (~340°F).
Now, in a medium-sized bowl, let’s whisk together the oat, almond flour and cinnamon.
Next, using a mixer with a paddle or whisk attachment, let’s beat the almond butter, vanilla and Maple syrup, make sure it is a creamy mixture. After that, it’s time to blend the dry ingredients until everything is nicely combined.
Now, peel, core, and dice the apples and pears (or any fruits you have). Mix together the fruit with cinnamon and raisins.
Tip into a rectangular glass dish where it fits snugly and cover it with your breadcrumb texture.
We’re going to pop it into the oven and bake for 40 minutes approx. To check if it’s done, insert a toothpick into the center – it should slice easily into the fruit.
Once it’s done, take the crumble out of the oven. You can eat it warm or cold.
After baking your delightful crumble, store it covered at room temperature for up to 2 days, or refrigerate for a week. The flavors meld beautifully by the second day, enhancing the taste. Enjoy every bite!
What I loved about this recipe is that I can use seasonal fruits like apricots, raspberries, rhubarb, and pears. For a more indulgent treat, you can add vanilla ice cream or Chantilly cream.
